The Forgotten Craft began as a dream to escape the confines of the business world and reconnect with what truly matters. Our owner, once a financial accountant, was seeking a more fulfilling and enjoyable path. With a deep love for art and craft, this journey started as a way to address specific health needs and shift from analytical thinking to creative expression.
Art and craft activities have always been a source of joy and relaxation. They offer a refreshing break from daily stresses and provide a creative outlet that supports mental well-being. At The Forgotten Craft, we believe in the transformative power of these activities to bring balance and happiness to our lives.
We see immense value in exploring crafts that might not be commonly taught. Whether it’s a nostalgic activity from childhood, a tradition passed down from grandparents, or simply something new and different, we offer a space for these experiences. Our goal is to bring people together, allowing them to rediscover old passions or uncover new ones.
The joy of seeing something completed, even if it’s not perfect, is what drives us. We cherish the opportunity to create a fun, inviting environment where people can connect, unwind, and enjoy the process of crafting. Join us at The Forgotten Craft and be part of a community that values creativity, relaxation, and togetherness.
All my life I've been a keen arts & crafter, this is my happy place. My specialty is sewing, creating for my own sense of style.
I also have a passion for cultural art and take classes everywhere I travel in the quest to learn new skills.
I hope you join us as we revive some forgotten crafts.
